Berlin, 24 January 2025. The supervisory board of Tele Columbus AG announces that Michael Fränkle, CTO and member of the Management Board, is leaving the company on 31 January 2025 at his own request and by mutual agreement in order to pursue new professional challenges.
Michael Fränkle has been a valued member of the Management Board for two years and has made a significant contribution to the development of the company during this time. Under his leadership, the company’s growth was successfully advanced through key projects such as “OneNET” or the establishment of a comprehensive Plan-Build-Run-Service organization.
The supervisory board and the entire Management Board would like to thank Michael Fränkle for his extraordinary commitment and outstanding achievements. We wish him all the best and continued success for his further professional and private life.
With Michael Fränkle’s departure, the Executive Board will be reduced from five to four members. The CTO’s previous areas of responsibility will be restructured: Alexander Sragner, as CIO, will in future report directly to CEO Markus Oswald. The role of CTO – with the exception of IT – will be taken over by Mario Zöller, who will also report to Markus Oswald. Mario Zöller is currently Managing Director and CTO of HLkomm Telekommunikations GmbH and has more than 20 years of experience in management positions at renowned companies in the telecommunications and manufacturing sectors, including Deutsche Telekom, Deutsche Glasfaser and Vattenfall Eurofiber. This realignment will ensure a seamless transition and continuity of management.
