We take responsibility
As a company, we invest in sustainable, and therefore future-proof, technologies and are increasingly gearing all our activities towards sparing use of natural resources.
We provide high-performance and clearly structured products for our end customers. Our commitment here is to communicate transparently and on an equal footing with the users of our services at all times.
For our partners in the housing industry, our broadband networks ensure value retention of properties, make homes better places to live and allow residents to engage in social discourse.
Family-friendly working arrangements, occupational health and safety and support of employees through training opportunities matter to us. As a modern employer, we take our diversity and gender equality obligations seriously. We also promote humane working conditions in our supply chain.
Net Zero Carbon
The Management Board of Tele Columbus AG has claimed a commitment to a target of net zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions across our full value chain by 2050.
We are following the 1.5 degree Celsius target of the United Nations in accordance with the Paris climate agreement of 2015. This commitment underlines our serious approach to sustainability and is helping us to create a long-term value for our business and our stakeholders.
The ESG strategy contains sustainability targets until 2030 for the companies of the Tele Columbus Group and its brands PŸUR, PYUR Business, RFC. This ensures us to reach the necessary milestones towards net zero and leads to an accelerated reduction path through definition and implementation of concrete measures.

Sustainability Strategy 2030
Tele Columbus AG has adopted an ESG strategy with sustainability targets until 2030 for the companies of the Tele Columbus Group and its brand PŸUR. The strategy comprises the core areas of environment, social and governance. All goals and milestones are controlled via transparent key figures.

Digital TV: a real energy saver
With TV cables the last remaining way of transmitting analogue television signals, and with dwindling penetration and statutory requirements additionally fuelling technical changes, 2018 marked the end of our non-digital TV and radio services.
Transparency and comparability
Our annual report meets the Global Reporting Initiative-Standards. Some parts of the Tele Columbus Group are ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified. Our climate-related indicators are calculated on the basis of data provided by the German Environment Agency, the Oeko-Institut and internationally accepted CO2 databases.
